To ensure that you enjoy your stay in Chama, we offer fishing along the banks of the Rio Chama. Kids can feed the fish in our on-site pond.

Within a few minutes of the hotel are Heron Lake and El Vado Lake. El Vado Lake offers the opportunity for all watersports, while Heron Lake is restricted to “no-wake” boating speeds. Both are located among the beautiful scenery of northern New Mexico.

The Chama area also offers horseback riding, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. Nearby you can test your luck at the casino in Ignacio, or your ski skills on the slopes of the Wolf Creek ski area.
